Service Description

Café Chat is about slowing down and letting Thai enter the conversation naturally. We meet at a café, order something you enjoy, and talk the way friends do when there’s no rush. Some days the conversation stays light, other days it goes a bit deeper. It really depends on you and how you’re feeling that day. There’s no agenda, no script, and nothing you need to prepare. You don’t need to “know what to say.” We let the conversation take its own shape, and Thai comes in gently as part of that flow. Pausing is okay. Switching to English is okay. Nothing needs to be forced. This experience is meant to feel easy, like the kind of conversation where, at some point, you realise you’re no longer thinking about learning Thai, you’re just using it. What we’ll do - sit down and have a natural and unhurried conversation - use Thai as much as feels comfortable, with English support when needed - practise speaking and listening through real dialogue - talk about everyday topics that matter to you - focus on comfort and confidence, not correctness Good for - beginners or first-time Thai learners - people who feel shy or tense about speaking - learners who want to ease into Thai gently - long-stay visitors or people living in Bangkok - anyone who learns better through conversation than study If speaking Thai still feels heavy or intimidating, this is a good place to start. Duration 1 hour Where this takes place - cafés in central Bangkok that are comfortable for conversation and easy to reach. To keep scheduling smooth, locations are limited to areas accessible via: - BTS Sukhumvit Line - BTS Silom Line - MRT Blue Line Meeting point You can: - suggest a café along the routes above, or - leave it open and we’ll decide together after booking If you’re not sure yet, that’s completely fine, the location can be confirmed later. Pricing Note - The price of this experience covers my time and guidance for the Thai learning session only. - Food, drinks, transportation, or any personal expenses during the experience are not included and are paid separately by each participant.
